DESCRIPTION
ARA is the second part of a trilogy that began with BACK and concludes with TATTOO.
This new journey transcends body, space, and choreographic play to connect directly with the spectator’s senses—with flesh, emotion, surprise, and feeling that move beyond the limits of the skin.
ARA unfolds within the scenography designed by Luis Crespo, the lighting of Juanjo Llorens, the music of Ludovico Einaudi, Kronos Quartet, and Pan Sonic, under the artistic direction and choreography of Asun Noales.
It draws us into a delicate and captivating world of unrepeatable moments—an ode to the ephemeral nature of time and the beauty of the present instant. ARA seeks to capture the unique communicative power of dance, touching both the performer and the audience alike, through sensation, emotion, and the shared pleasure that flows from stage to seat.
Reflected images once again play a key role in Noales’ visual language. The set, more complex and dynamic than in the first part of the trilogy, merges with Llorens’ luminous architecture to create poetic and evocative imagery—transporting us through the shifting atmospheres shaped by Noales and the dancers of OtraDanza.
