DESCRIPTION
Clandestino Clandestino is a symbolic space set on an ordinary night in any metropolis — Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, New York, Buenos Aires — during the interwar period. A flashback that, from a contemporary lens, brings us back to the birth of a new modernity.
A place where boundaries blur, where everything left unsaid is expressed through the language of bodies. Transformed into dance, this language fosters seduction through codes that subvert prevailing moral standards, crafting a new space for social connection where relationships are cloaked in smoke, exalted by music, and fueled by long, clinking drinks.
A fleeting time of peace — between one great war and an even greater one — accompanied by frenzied melodies and rhythms upon which events, styles, ideologies, sound cinema, gramophones, political exaltation, territorial ambition, high and low culture, decay and ascension, all layered themselves.
Come in, please. Step inside and dance. Like the possessed, like the cursed. As if it were the final night of time. Knock, knock. Password? Clandestino.
