Laura Fernández Castelló, born in Valencia, began studying dance at a very early age in schools in her city. Her curiosity led her to go abroad to participate in dance courses such as the Rosella Hightower School Course in Cannes (France), and various events with national and international choreographers.
In 1996, she took the leap to enter the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany, where she obtained a diploma in classical and contemporary dance, composition, dance theory, and choreology under the tutelage of Dr. Lohmann in 1999. At the same time, she graduated in classical and contemporary ballet from the Conservatorio Superior de Danza in Valencia.

From 1997 to 1999, she worked for the Volkstheater Rostock (Germany) company, as a guest in ballets such as Coppelia and Romeo and Juliet. In the latter year, she also participated in productions with the Tanz Forum in Cologne together with the city's philharmonic orchestra, as well as with the Euregio Tanz-Forum company in Heerlen (Netherlands), both under the direction of choreographer Jochen Ulrich.
She joined the Ballet Theater München am Gärtnerplatz (Germany) where she danced as a soloist from 1999 to 2004, under the direction of Philip Taylor, dancing the repertoire of the director and guest choreographers such as Rui Horta, Jiri Kylian, Robert Cohan, and Cayetano Soto, among others.
In 2004, she joined the Ballet de l'Opéra du Rhin in Mulhouse (France) as a soloist, under the direction of Bertrand d'At. She danced classical repertoire and worked with guest choreographers such as Davide Bombana, Maryse Delente, Nacho Duato, Lucinda Childs, Andonis Foniadakis, David Nixon, among many others.
In 2006, she bid farewell to the stage and joined choreographer Cayetano Soto as a rehearsal director and choreography assistant. She worked for him in numerous companies in Europe and America.
She is also a guest teacher in numerous companies, schools, and summer workshops in Spain and the Valencian Community.

Laura is also a rehearsal director and assistant to choreographer Annett Ghöre, with whom she works in various dance and opera companies in Germany and Beijing (China). She also assists
choreographer Ihsan Rustem for several theaters in Europe, such as the theaters in Ulm (Germany), Innsbruck (Austria), and Ekodance in Turin (Italy).
Since the summer of 2018, she has been working for the company Joven Valencia Dancing Forward as a ballet master, rehearsal director, stage director, and assistant to choreographers such as Gustavo Ramírez, Ramon Oller, Philip Taylor, Ihsan Rustem, and Nacho Duato.
In 2020 and 2021, Laura is teaching classical dance and repertoire courses to professionals at 180 (Madrid) with repertoire by Cayetano Soto and Ihsan Rustem, as well as at the ADAM International Dance Campus with repertoire by Ihsan Rustem.
