Telemann Rec. is the place where we explore the possibilities of music as an interdisciplinary language. Whether accompanying audiovisual media or engaging with dance or theater, music plays a fundamental role in constructing meaning and generating emotion. Trained in classical music, we share a passion for electronic and pop music and are constantly searching for new musical horizons, immersing ourselves time and again in the magical relationship between music and emotion.
AURORA BAUZÁ
Pianist, musicologist, and Master in Music as an Interdisciplinary Art, Aurora Bauzà has focused her professional career on the field of musical creation for audiovisual and performing arts. In 2015, she founded the production company Telemann Rec., which channels her interest in musical creation as an interdisciplinary language. With Telemann Rec., she has composed, performed, and produced musical pieces for a multitude of audiovisual and performing arts projects, while also developing her own musical projects in the performing arts field.
PERE JOU
Countertenor, sociologist, and audiovisual communicator, Pere Jou spent the first 10 years of his professional career in the world of pop music, producing, recording, and performing with various bands, as well as leading his own pop band, Quart Primera. In 2015, he made the leap to the performing arts, which has led him to work as a composer and performer for a multitude of artists, choreographers, and directors. He currently combines his work as a composer with his role as a contemporary dancer and performer.
